Cookie Policy
Overview
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. We use a few to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice. If you allow it, we also use analytics cookies to count visits and see which links bring people to Kragzam.
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't share your browsing with ad networks. This page covers kragzam.com, the Kragzam app at app.kragzam.com, and shared documents on docs.kragzam.com.
Cookies we always use
These cookies make Kragzam work, so they don't need your permission. None of them are used for analytics.
In the app, cookies keep you signed in and your account secure. When you sign in with Google, a 10-minute cookie checks that the sign-in finishing is the one your browser started.
If a shared document asks for a password or checks who you are, a cookie remembers that you got in. It's deleted when you close your browser.
We also remember your analytics choice for 1 year, so we don't ask you again on every visit.
Analytics cookies
These are set only if you choose Accept. We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to count visits and see which pages and links bring people to Kragzam, such as a link in a newsletter.
One cookie gives your browser a random ID, so a return visit isn't counted as a new visitor. It lasts 1 year. Another remembers where your first visit came from for up to 90 days. If you then sign up, we know which link brought you. We don't record your screen or capture what you type.
Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts traffic on kragzam.com. It sets no cookies and can't identify you, so it runs whatever you choose. We don't use Google Analytics.
If you decline
We set no analytics cookies, and we delete the one about where you came from if it's there. PostHog may still count your visit without cookies, and can't recognise you on a later day. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we treat it as a decline and don't show the banner.
One thing doesn't depend on your choice. Links from kragzam.com to the app carry the campaign details from the link you arrived on, the site that sent you, and the page you landed on. If you sign up from one, we save those with your account. Our Privacy Policy explains this and how PostHog counts visits without cookies.
Other browser storage
The app and the document viewer save a few settings in your browser's local storage, such as fonts you used recently or where you stopped reading a document. These stay on your device.
Change your choice
Use the button below to reset your choice. The banner then appears again. In the app, you can also go to Settings, then Account, then Analytics cookies. Deleting Kragzam's cookies in your browser settings resets it too.
